Abstract

"This work presents a methodology for the development a furnace. The idea comes from the need to build a team that allows different practices of casting non-ferrous metals, encapsulated in an economic, functional and easy-to-operate prototype. The main motivation is to offer students and institutions of a higher level, a useful device to perform non-ferrous metal casting practices and acquire the necessary skills, as well as a better preparation. The advantage of using an oven of these characteristics, is that it allows to visualize a practical, safe and dynamic alternative, the process of controlled financing, achieve a high temperature level in short times, offer a fuel saving, which drives it to Be an economically attractive operation proposal."
